What would you spec?

Right guys this job is already done (to my bosses spec)i dont agree with what he said and tweaked it some what.

Tiling a 18m2 bathroom in a building with a conservation order,the walls were wooden latts covered with horse hair plaster skimmed with goat hair plaster,tiles where porcelanosa oxon white with a stick pizzara feature wall round the window,what would be your spec on the job?

I think with plaster like that I would spec coloured distemper, whitewash with lime....

So paint it then ?,not an option unfortuanetly, had to be tiled no ifs or buts had to be done and a solution had to be found,the job has been probably the worst thing i have come across in 20 yrs.

id probably cut out all that crap and replace with ply and hardibacker then tile

Same as Ajax for me....if they new it was going to be tiled then other materials should have been used.

Not an option its a listed building,they knew it was going to be tiled .
