Finishing off a massive run of pricing over the last four days, with 14 quotes done and one more to finish. All work is for March next year and onwards and back on the tools tomorrow. Might also fit in a bit of xbox later on.......

Just been up to the hospital to see a neurologist. I had a funny do the day after Jake was born so I had an mri scan a couple of months ago. The quacks think it was migraine brought on by giving birth. They think i'm fine and have discharged me. Good news I'm just having 5 minutes to myself whilst Jake is asleep and eating my latest homemade chocolate cake mmmmmm!

Just laid 7 mtrs of 600x600 black slate..

Turned up this morning to see washing machine and dishwasher still in-situ and all the laminate still down.. :mad2:...


So struggled on to remove machines etc as my back ain't the best lately.. ....

Makes you wonder what they think sometimes these customers. 'Oh he'll be alright doing all that'. They don't think about the lost day / money.

they've under ordered on wall field tiles and mosaics too, it's a job I'm doing for my brothers firm and on day rate otherwise I'd be spitting feathers, (customers, not my bro, measured and sourced the tiles.)

Got the slate floor down today easily and was amazed with the finish of the honed slate....smooth as a baby's bum. No tiles short

i removed the trim from the customers bathroom to continue up the walls, just used a stanley knife, had it all off in under an hour, and still got all me fingers........oh, and i had 3 tiles left over..lol..

I'v been laying marble for weeks now, this weeks no different but classy work so I'm loving it all.
Day rate at minute too so marble delays don't bother me.

Got a meeting with a top end bathroom store who called me last week. Apparently I installed a bathroom using their tiles and suite (9 grands worth) and wanted me to go in for a chat. Today could be a good day, fingers crossed.
