whats porcelanosa addy / grout like ?

went to porcelanosa the other day first time in ages and noticed they sell addy/grout etc. i havent used this gear anybody know if its any good ?
cant remember what its called , just curious having seen it

I've never used there stuff but I know a plumber who used some grout which was claimed to be mapei from porcelanosa

It's gone all patchy on him and it was'nt mapei because he checked with there tech line, he's a plumber not a tiler though

Unless it's changed - this was a year ago, Porcelanosa use Butech which is just rebadged Dunlop from BAL

I do alot of work for porcelanosa, and there adhesive and grout range is called Butech, there products are great and easy to use imo! the grout is fine like mapei, it comes in the same colours as mapei, it sets in the same time as mapei and comes in the same bags as mapei, only different coloured bags! im not saying it is made by mapei, or it could be made by mapei to butech spec! a bit like bal with dunlop etc...

yeah thats the stuff macten, was wondering about the grout my customer has ordered this stuff in anthracite which scares me :yikes:

There butech/dunlop is fine to use if that's what has been provided. You may need to add the GT1 to the grout depending on the spec of your job.

It's not made by mapei.....so the colours are not the same...i was told butech is by BAL...Dunlop..
