Morning guys n girls
Just wanted opinions on floor levelling.
We are in the bathroom installation trade so have tiled many a floor in many differing circumstances, with/without UFH, using NMP, Hardie, Dukka/Wedi etc etc.
My question is when is the best time to level the floor, before or after laying backer boards?
In the case of UFH we would normally lay 10mm thermal backer boards then UFH then SLC to encompass cable and level at the same time.
Without UFH is it better to SLC then backer boards or the other way round?
We also fit a lot of large low level shower trays which we normally fit then lay backer boards then level if necessary.
Are there any better recommendations/suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
