Where did I go wrong installing ditra

Hi everyone I tried installing ditra 25 matting for the first time but didn’t get the same coverage on the Matt as what they did in the videos I was wondering if anyone could point out where I went wrong as I thought I followed all steps. Thanks

Mix your adhesive wetter and try using a vinyl roller. i use a Refina Portaroller..

Thanks for the reply and this is how it looked for the coverage tried to upload a photo before but it didn’t work

Mix it wet as suggested. But once it dries the adhesive soaks in to it would look similar to you picture once dry as long as the coverage looks good when checking when it’s wet it will be fine
