i Have packed the van, and will be back to the pool in Reading , to fix the coping tiles, then render the step's and then mosaic the pool, we can't stay in our digs as its already booked to others so i have booked a travel -lodge ! we need to get this job finished as we have other jobs stacking-up :yikes: ..... what you guys at then ?

Tiles for my next job aren't being delivered til Tuesday so, I'm having another day at home tomorrow doing my garden wall. I managed 180 bricks today, only 1000 or so more to go :lol:

Bri some pictures of your fine bit of brick laying would be good,

me I am still off after having the cataract operation, getting a bit bored at home really, feel fine to work but don't want to get an infection in the eye. been watching '24' again that Jack Bauer is so unlucky everything that could happen to him does.

By the way had my operation done in Grantham hospital, what a good hospital compared to lincoln.

At home all week apart from a 270 mile round trip to Bristol this morning to fit a rug!! Time to catch up on the paperwork and also play nurse to the wife who had an operation a couple of weeks ago (She's fine just can't lift anything, can't even make me a brew!!)

Converting a bathroom to a shower room in Hythe (near Southampton) - taking all the tiles off and fittings panels ! Ho Hum.

Steve - just finished the whole "24" series on Netflix, truly great TV with only a few weak episodes/characters. Some great baddies too ! Can I suggest you follow it with "Jericho" ?

Well i should have been in Wolverhampton tiling a floor but when I got there the so called flat floor had a 12mm dip across the width, The 600 x 300 tiles were actually 700 x450 so levelled up and headed to West Bromwich to catch up with a commercial job. Day turned out ok in the end.
Builder for a floor I am booked in for on Thursday called to say client had changed her mind about the tiles she had already bought so that will be delayed but then another builder has a 150 meter floor in Coventry for me in 3 weeks time.
Ups and downs of the tiling trade.

Just started a full kitchen today, ripout, supply and fit. Only 2 streets away, will be taking tools tomorrow, leaving them at customers and walking to work for next few days. Not that I'm tight on the diesel or anything!!! :smilewinkgrin:

Just started a 35mtr floor, consisting of utility, kitchen, hallway, cloakroom, and entrance hall. UFH in the hallway and the kitchen, laid the insulation boards today. Mats tomorrow and self level. Start laying wed 300 x 300 galaxy granite. Should be a nice job.

Just started doing absolutely bog all.

For the first time this year.......work has dried up. Couple of small jobs next week, but it looks like I'm home alone this week.
