Me again! Once again, i've done a fair bit of research on here and see a number of options.
The setup is a mixed room of polished travertine and some filled/honed mosaics. The room is a bathroom with wet area - the wet area is built around an impey aquadec tray
We have durabase ci/wp matting for the walls/floors.
The bottom part of the room is a concrete floor, the top part is moisture ply and the impey tray. I will be putting electric UFH in both areas, though not too close to the drain on the tray to avoid affecting the fall.
I have scribbled notes mentioning some mapei products and also some adhesilix products - the trouble is i can't remember which ones to buy for where - so i think i need to know which products to buy for:
- between the ci matting and floor
- between the wp matting and walls
- over the ci matting/ufh for the tiles
- over the wp matting for the tiles
I believe all the above will be some form of flexible adhesive?
I then need opinions on grout and colour - the tiles are predominantly a light polished travertine - so something off white but what colour would you guys normally use?
The tiler hasn't used the durabase matting before - he said he's used similar and did name some products but when i said that there were experts on here who use dural every day i said i'd ask advise for the best products to match with it..
