which adhesive?

to repair my wading boots, the felt sole is coming away from the rubber upper-sole, any ideas anyone?

I've got some 2 part mitre mate, will it be flexible enough Mike?, I was thinking of robbing the rubber solution out of kids puncture repair kit.

i don't think either would be flexible or a permanent fix, if they're expensive or have sentimental value (the latter looks the more probable) it may be worth you taking them to a cobblers/shoe repair shop for a proper repair. puncture repair glue will only stick if both materials are rubber

they're about £70 Mike, no sentimental value, just a means to cross the river, my waders are stocking foot ones and I just put the boots on over them.

No More Ply Mega strength adhesive....strongest stuff I have come across, flexible and waterproof.

spot fixed 'em with mitre mate and done the main of the sole with rubber solution,,,,they're now in the outhouse trussed up like an MP in a brothel!

i used silcone to stick the sole back on me bike boots, worked a treat...
