Which slate sealer?

O M G ... I have spent the entire day scrubbing and washing the floor. There are still bits of grout on the edges of the slate but its staying! LOL

Going to have a bottle of wine now and seal it in the morning and again in the afternoon.

you need to use a grout residue remover and use it neat on the bits that are left, and scrub and scrub and scrub. That or depending on your sealant it may just cover up. Properly cleaned after grouting their should be very little residue and it should just wash off with a sponge and then polish over with an old towel when dry. Lithofin Slate Seal is a good, thick, oily sealant that covers up the slate beautifully.

Stunning! Nice job. Makes ours look shoddy. We still have grout on but don't care now. LOL

It's getting sealed! Second coat in a minute then I'll probably spent the rest of the afternoon talking to a tree.

how'd the chat with the larch go? I prefer the Douglas Fir or Weeping Willow, much better response after an hour or two breathing in sealant fumes
