Which tile cutter for 60x30 porcelain

Hi,

I'm going to be tiling the bathroom soon so need to buy a tile cutter. From the posts on here, it seems Rubi or Sigma is best. Which model should I be looking for to cut 600x300 glazed porcelain - there seems to be so many different models of the sigma cutters it's a bit confusing.

All Sigma cutters will cut porcelain. Just make sure you get one large enough. Its not that confusing, there are 3 types of handle, push, pull or Klik klok to suit your style. They all do the same job.

Im diy but will also need it for doing the kitchen floor in the near future. I was thinking of spending 200-250 on a half decent cutter then selling it n when im done to get some of the money back

Thanks for the replies. Have had a look at the site linked above and I'm undecided between the 2d3 and the 3b. Is the 3b worth paying an extra 50 quid for or isn't there much difference?

Hello Yorkslad, The 2D3 has a thin base compared with a 3B which has a large base that you can sit 60x60 tile on nicely. the 3B also has a handle that scores backwards where as the 2D3 scores forwards.
