Hi guys - 5m2 bathroom floor - will be sat on 35x35 mm batons, onto a concrete floor - they arent that well held down to the concrete, i must admit - ill give them all a good smear of no-nails prior to laying the floor.

Tiles are 600x300mm polished porcelin - not cheap either !!!

should i be using chipboard, then a layer of 18mm ply....OR just lay a single peice of 25mm ply down, and be done with it.

and, and ideas on a good place to buy them ??? not b+q i presume, but a maybe a national timber supplier ?
