white grout dryed out off white

hi guys, ive tiled a bathroom, used technik anti-bac white grout, it has dryed out an off white, sort of like when white grout is wet, like there is a tint of grey in it like its damp. however there is no damp whatsoever in the bathroom, or any steam in the air, or damp walls etc walls have been there for over 20years so its not damp behind,,, any info guys

what adhesive did you use and onto what substrate and how long did you leave the tiling before grouting and what size and type of tile ?

forget name of adhesive,, it was bagged powder ya mix it yourself, it was left 2 days before grouting, tiles where 50 cm by 20 cms

off white color the adhesive was, joints where clear, and tiles well set,,,, have been tiling for over 10yrs now and this is the first time this has happened,, cud it be something like the grout was out of date, or was left lying on cold floor for to long etc?????

Never heard of this brand. Perhaps thats what its like. For the same reason, whilst I always use Mapei UCP, if I'm using white grout on white tiles I use BAL as its a brighter white.

so tile shop said that the longer the the grout is in the whiter it will get,,,, they said that it just takes time to dry out although it has been 3 days now???? not to sure about that, but hopefully that does it!!

It's made by Evostick i think. Never used it. A picture might help give an explanation though.
