the type of trousers that have knee pads that you insert in to a pocket in the trousers?? i bought some for my lad , and the Mrs said they are know-good because the outside of the trousers will wear out quickly and i think she is right!!how do you find them?

I wear Trousers made by Snicker (£60) with their premium insert pad (£25) and I've never managed to wear the knee's out in them. They are a bit pricey but they are very light and comfortable and the only thing that sticks to them is silicone. They're by far the best I've used and the only ones I buy now.

I bought some dewalt trousers the other day, came in a box with a hat and a belt and the knee pads , £40 good bargain imo

I wear the cheap Portwest trousers with Snickers 9117 knee pads. They're bean bag type pads and immensely comfortable costing about £20. Even with the cheap trousers I've never worn through the knees and I'm on them all day every day. And as the trousers are only about £13 a pair you can replace them more often anyway.

Snickers floor layer trousers with the bean bag knee pads are the best I have found, a bit pricy though but last about a year and a half compared to the ordinary snickers which last about 6 months

I find they wash really well. The only marks I have on mine are silicone.

I use the strauss cargo trousers,2 pairs for 30 quid with a belt and they have no knee pad pockets so my alpros fit nicely over them.
