Window starting point

Hello to all,

Where is the recommended starting point when tiling inside the window reveal

Side tiles first, or top tiles held with batons etc.

Varies on job, tiles etc but I usually start with bottom, then sides (leaving out top course, header tiles and then the last two on the sides. I use rapid set on window reveals and will fix bottom first then do something else whilst this sets, then continue with the rest. I'm sure everybody does it slightly differently though

Top, sides then bottom for me ,top header tiles sre supported by battons till they've gone off..

Sides top bottom for me , why battons ?good adhesive I find I don't need em, not used battons for as far back as I can remember, no battons saves a lot of time and to me time is money

Yes brian ...decent addy helps only batton when using a heavy tile like pors or stone.

Dont you find doing the bottom first you end up dropping adhesive over it when you do the rest..

Thats why i usually leave bottom until last.
