Hi, can anyone advise me on the best way to cut wine bottles, i want to make a candle, thanks.

Funnily enough my son asked the same question recently. Google threw up some suggestions regarding String , alcohol fire and cold water but it didnt leave a good finish. Simplest way would be on the wet saw for tilers.

My mum bought a kit many years ago for doing this as a hobby. It was a special glass cutter and the cut edge was then flamed to smooth it. Not sure where she got it .... Seems like hundreds of years ago
