winters coming

looks like winters just round the corner,been trying in vain all morning to tile a set of front and back steps! what a nightmare-gale force winds,torrential showers,get soaked,dry out,visqueen on,visqueen off,will i mix another batch,wont i:yikes:
looks like i'll be back tomorrow on my day off to get it finished and hopefully stay drier than today:mad2:

stripping the paint from 15 windows as wrong paint system used, chemical stripper is nuetralised by water so inefective this weather and I cant {wont}paint wet wood

I've been working in an extension to a farmhouse and the builders have moved to outside works to brave the horizontal rain. If I had a pound for every time someone said to me " you're lucky to be working indoors today" I'd have seven pounds.
