No fear Doug - it didn't go to penalties. They got trounced 6-2!!

In 18 meetings against the German's, they've never once beaten them. You'd think out of 18 matches, even if they were the better side, we'd fluke one!

The girls did great, considering they were not even expected to reach the final. The score line did flatter Germany as England played very well for three quarters of the game. :hurray:
