Work trousers

Need a new pair of work trousers to replace my Snickers 3212's. Have the Snickers floorlayer trousers which are great but looking something light and comfy like the 3212. Are any of the cheaper brands like Apache worth looking into or is Snickers still the best to pay the premium for?

The current ones are ripped at the crotch but I have a feeling that my expanding waistline over the last few months has helped them along.

dickies are reasonable.I paid £17 for mine and theres plenty of pockets on them.Sorry dont know the style of them.

I've tried loads of different brands and just gone back to snickers, far better than the rest IMO. The knee inserts are excellent quality.

I wear Dickies Eisenhower work trousers which were about £28 from memory. I choose them cos they have nice long legs for my nice long legs :smiley2:

Not just you and it seems not just snickers, most of mine go there first, recently got a pair of pirate-shorts work trousers and the first thing I did was put an iron on patch over the offending area. My blåklåders are ok in that dept but the stitching in the outside of the kneepad pouch pops quickly and with ease, and they're meant to be top quality

i have apache,which are good,dewalt which are good and snickers which i find the worst,i find the material rips easy.in fact my 2 lads prefer dewalt,although i like apache.
i get my free ,the wife owns a workwear shop

Are the Apache trousers as light and comfy? Got a heavy pair for floors but like a light pair for jumping up and down when doing bathroom top courses etc.

I would try Primark they have a wide range of various workwear which is top quality for decent prices, i'm not sure if they will have exactly what you are looking for put it's a good chance that they will, so it's worth a look even if it's just for comparisons sake.

bought a pair of scruffs a few weeks back, great at first, quite light with loads of pockets. Within 4 weeks though the stitching around the groin started to go (wouldnt mind but not exacly much upfront to cause this area to burst open). Wouldnt buy them again, quite expensive aswell.
Do like the Apache gear what someone already mentioned, very tough wearing, boots are very comfy aswell.
