working abroad

Working abroad for maybe 6 months to a year is something thats always apealed to me but as yet i have never done. Just after abit of nfo or advice really. Maybe the best way of going about finding work abroad or any other tilers experience of work abroad?

funny enough years ago the swimming pool game was mainly outdoor , so this made it seasonal ,so in the winter when we had a lot less to do i would often think of going to Australia as there seasons are opposite to our's, i would think of having two sets of tools/ vehicles and having the best of both worlds , never did it though lol

Hasnt Wall and Floor tiler been removed from 'The Job List' for emigration, does that not conclude that there is little work for tilers at the present time ?

Well worth doing if you can. I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to work on a small island in the south Atlantic Ocean. Quite an experience.

Where was that then SR.....

Ascension Island. Basically a tiny dot on the map in the middle of the south Atlantic and an RAF base.

I've worked there as well but it was way over 20 years ago.....
