the supplier reckons that once I've sealed them the scratches will magically "disappear":lol:,,,,"a bit like my customers right to a refund" I said.

it's a real good idea blindly buying tiles off the net, you try and tell customers not to do it, look at the cack they are selling!

The scratches are polishing imperfections from the line machine that was honing the tiles. Contamination has entered the machine and lodged itself in the diamond polishing heads.

They will require re honing if laid in that state.

a bit of another story behind it too, I'd gone to pick backer boards and addy up on tuesday and asked my supplier when tiles where due in,
,"what tiles Doug, are you sure customer ordered them from us?"
"yep, sent them down last saturday Simon, they said tiles were ordered and paid for, do you wanna check your order book?"
he checked and double checked and couldn't find the order, so I rang customer up to see if he could shed some light on it,,
"yeah Doug, wife found some on internet she liked so we ordered them from there"
last thing i'd told them was not to buy off internet:mad2:
