wrong tile sealer

hello all. iv just finished a travertine shower room, and after reading on this site decided to go for the fila travertine impregnator/sealer, so i went in topps and bought it and then brushed it all over the shower room ready for grouting tomorrow.... then i read the tin, i bought (polished )travertine and marble impregnator/sealer. any advice please, is it a massive boob or will it be fine, cheers daz

It will be fine.. if it penetrates polished surface it will penetrate honed..

will be ok . grout allow to dry then you could give another thin coating

once iv grouted and its dry should i use same stuff or go for the (unpolished) tin of sealer?

i would use the same

Make sure you buff off any sealer not soaked in within 10 mins or so..
Never let any excess sealer dry on the surface.
