Xbox 360 games

So, Mr GRR decided to buy an Xbox 360 last week because we needed a new dvd player :| and so now we have yet another games console with shoot-em-ups and games I don't have a hope in hells chance of playing because (despite being of the technological revolution generation) I've never had an interest in gaming. Until now...

Can anybody recommend any family type games for the Xbox? I've been having a look at F1 Race Stars, Epic Mickey and stuff like that. Does anybody have any other suggestions? I already have Just Dance 4 for the Nintendo Wii and we won't be buying a Kinnect for a long time yet.

Cant help much, not a gamer at all except for motorcycle games...I have heard that Trials 360 is very good...if you like bike games that is.

Boys have been pestering me to get them an x-box, I just assumed at 6 and 7, they were too young for it, didn't realise you could get lego games @whitebeam, they love lego:smilewinkgrin:

Heard somewhere that the PS3 has sold vastly more than the xbox, maybe because it has blue ray built in the PS3.

as my son (profesional gamer ) says, WELL, xbox does not have as good disc quality, if you look at any ps3 disk case, you will see that it is a 'bluray' disk so it will not get scratched, but with the xbox, i DARE you to try and lift the xbox while there is a disk inside, and see how scratched the disk gets... also the ps3 has free online gaming

ah right, they do have star wars and Indianna Jones games on the Wii.....Mrs Doug is adamant I'm not allowed an X-Box

My kids are 5,8 and 9, and they love the lego games, Lego Batman and Lego Indiana Jones,
You can also get Lego Harry potter,Star wars,Pirates of the carribean etc.
They are now into Skylanders, but it can work out expensive, as you have to buy the characters and put them on a "portal", and they come to life on screen.
The Kinect is good fun too for all the family
