Thanks - What about where the tile meets the units though? and the internal corners? As others have said, I think using the same colour grout and silicone (mapei grey), with a few attempts i think can get it blend in somehow.

For me I would use the white on internal corners and against the units. Reason being, because of the bevelled edge on the tile the thickness of the bead will change each time it changes angle. It will really stand out, grey over white, the white would be less noticeable.

Good point. Thats my biggest concern, getting a constant straight bead over the angles whilst somehow ensuring the 'diamonds' dont stand out. I guess I'll only know when I get round to siliconing.

I'll try both white n grey n see what looks best. Thanks for that.

The Mapei grey should blend in quite well (I just spray with a little water with a drop of washing up liquid added and smooth over with a finger tip, multi wipes really help to keep things neat). Looking really good so far, had to tile a arched widow a few years back and the underside, cut individual pieces of trim to fit.
