How far do you normally take your tiles when tiling into a doorway, do you tile right upto the door stop or a little before it, tiled my bathroom floor and all looked fine until i fitted the tile to carpet strip, when i shut the bathroom door and stand on the landing you can see some of the strip from the landing, (what a bummer) good job it aint a customers house, Any help welcome, Cheers:(

Generally Paul the best look is when door plate sits against rebate,so if you cut plate to length first and then offer it to the floor and draw a pencil line on tile side.Cut yer tiles so the plate will cover by about 1/2 cm.When the door is closed the plate is directly under it,showing tiles from in room and carpet or whatever on the other hope this helps regs Gaz
