How Far Into Doorway.

How far do you normally take your tiles when tiling into a doorway, do you tile right upto the door stop or a little before it, tiled my bathroom floor and all looked fine until i fitted the tile to carpet strip, when i shut the bathroom door and stand on the landing you can see some of the strip from the landing, (what a bummer) good job it aint a customers house, Any help welcome, Cheers

Generally Paul the best look is when door plate sits against rebate,so if you cut plate to length first and then offer it to the floor and draw a pencil line on tile side.Cut yer tiles so the plate will cover by about 1/2 cm.When the door is closed the plate is directly under it,showing tiles from in room and carpet or whatever on the other hope this helps regs Gaz

I would stop your tiles so that the door threshold bar is under the door when closed, this way either side of rooms when the door when closed looks like either carpet or tile up to the door
