Ouch!

I feel your pain, i dragged my Fein Multi out of the van with my powertool hessian sack but managed to break its fall with my foot and I actually stuck my foot out to catch it. God it hurt, right on a thin bone at the top.
And I have to run up and down 3 floors tomorrow doing a powerflush ready to fit a new boiler

On tiles similar to yours @James De I score twice, then apply gentle breaking pressure at bar end to start fracture break and then move to far end to make second fracture break and its at this point it breaks. I never use sudden force to break the tile.
Just another thought @James De , you have removed the transit wedges/ packers from the spring loaded bed haven't you?
Have just double checked and nothing wedging the beds. They are moving freely

Well then what’s better in your opinion?
sincerely speaking, if I had to cut 120cm
with my eyes closed I choose battipav. sure that every cut I realize it.
and better than sigma. sigma I prefer it on smaller sizes.
battipav has other limits, such as setting the metric bar,
but the fact that it performs better cuts of sigma, without too much effort,
it's enough to compensate the tile marking before cutting and
I also see the wheel well.
but do not listen to my advice, I'm just an apprentice. :)

We have 8 pages of q+a in this thread about this 1200
cutter, to be fair it is probably user error,[no disrespect to anyone]
sigma are good machines if used correctly I just happen to prefer
Rubi because they work for me

On the flip side, I started using my first Sigma this week. It landed on the doorstep of my customers house on Tuesday and I just started using it. Cuts really well and I find it a great machine. Have been using Rubi for 25 years, also occasionally Montolit. I think the Sigma is excellent.

I’ve not tried the flagship Rubi Machine yet though. (TZ) but one thing is for sure- I don’t have any brand loyalty when it comes to what I say I like to use.

Disagree ,its the tile
The back looks like one I had 18 months ago . It didn't cut .

Maybe I don’t know, im just saying that the size of the tile he is trying to cut is 1200mm. Nothing more than that.

That’s unfortunate though. The very first tile that is being attempted to cut is not able to cut. What a bummer

Just had the pleasure of spending some time today with @3_fall
I successfully cut 30mm slices off those 1200’s with my sigma after being shown how to use it and how NOT to lean on the tile while snapping it :D
Cheers @3_fall very much appreciate it mate
He did not tell you that sends you the bill? :)
