Hi.
If using a 6mm notched float to apply adhesive, once bedded, how thick should the adhesive be?

Additionally, I decided to buy a tile levelling system and I notice that the foot of each unit (the section that lays beneath the tile) is bent upward, like this -). It sits around 6mm high, so I'm thinking that dictates the thickness of the adhesive, but does that not mean that the tile is not squashing into the adhesive, if using a 6mm float.

6mm is far too thin for the tiles you are using if I remember correctly from your thread #85

They're 500mm x 300mm

Ive put three tiles on and I struggled a little. I think I mixed the adhesive to tight I struggled to push the tiles in to the Addy, I also tried to use the Vitrex Lash levelling system and the foot of each unit appears to lift the tile away from the adhesive.

The tiles also seem to have a slight curve in them to. When I look down at the adhesive behind the tiles, it's thicker in the middle than it is the edges.

I should never have started to be honest, I didn't leave enough time to do owt before I had to go out.

Lash clips are terrible. You'll need 12mm notch minimum. 6mm not suitable for that size tile unless walls and tiles are perfect and not using wedge type clips

I thought so. I took them out. The walls are perfect, so hoping it will be fine.

Is there information, i.e a chart that indicates minimum adhesive thickness for different size tiles?

As Harry has said, ditch the lash clip, unfortunately the worst on the market, because of that curved base plate.

Use a 12mm notch trowel as above and mix adhesive as instructed on the bag, to the correct proportions.
Trowel wall and using flat edge of trowel skim back of the tile too. Fit the tile and remove it, and check you have good coverage, if not, trowel adhesive on back of tile where it’s needed, and try again.
Make sure you have standard set adhesive and not rapid.
Mix approx a quarter of the bag to start, just till you get used to it.
And try again. :)
