Has anyone done any work like this? We are having a pvc door removed between dining and utility room and replaced with an internal door. The aim is to create a level access for a wheelchair. However, there is a change of level 50mm. Builders want to create a level/shallow tiled ramp.
What would be the best tile to use and has anyone had any experience of this? Worried it could be slippery or look ugly, which as a permanent feature would be too late to cha

Thanks for your reply. This is the threshold in question. The height difference is estimated to be 50mm once the door has been removed.
