Discuss Staplegunning UFH Stickymat to prevent it rising/floating into SLC? in the Tiling on Underfloor Heating area at TilersForums.com.

In two minds as to whether to go for UFH stickymat (followed by decoupling membrane on top) or more expensive UFH decoupler 2 in 1 system

If the former, has anyone had luck preventing the stickymat from floating up into the levelling compound by staple gunning the mat itself onto the tile backer board beneath? Obviously not through the UFH electric wires itself

Possibly going to use stickymat and then self levelling on top followed by BAL Rapid Mat then tiles using an S1 adhesive on top
