it's not listed as an Impey , there's no brand mentioned, I'll ask tomorrow. I guess if it is an Impey I should use it?

It's a modular system so made up of 2 wedgeboards, infill panels & a channel drain. I'm not aware that Impey manufacturer the modular systems but may be wrong!

I don't mind paying for good quality stuff but not £360 if it's not the best! What would you usually expect to pay for 5m2 of tanking membrane kit?

Yup, it's the old Devil's flypaper.
DO NOT USE IT!

This is what happens:

It's bitumen based (tar) so it's soft.
Tiles (eventually) start to move/slip/slide on the soft bitumen and then it fails.
The above example was assisted by the underfloor heating REALLY softening the bitumen.

I know it worked on Noah's ark, but that was over 4000 years ago.
Trust me, bitumen has no place in bathroom waterproofing.
