Crazy few months ahead. Nearly all my work is for 4 different builders and they are stacked at the moment. Got a few jobs overlapping too so some early starts and long days ahead!

Don't be a busy idiot.

Life will run out and you'll regret it.

I won't Dan, been there before! Most long days mean an early start rather than working late. The majority of my work is in empty properties so starting at 5/6am is no problem and no matter how busy I am I'll down tools to go to kids sports days, school plays and any other time I'm needed during working hours. I stopped shop fitting work due to the amount of time being away from family.

Everything seems to be limestone at the moment. Start another bathroom and kitchen in limestone tomorrow, followed by some porcelain floors, and a few quickies (tile in a day). Then more limestone taking me into mid August.

I know that most longstanding commercial tiling firms must be backed up - I have had 4 commercial quotes done in the last 2 weeks, to combined a value of nearly £70k. Doubt if we will get any movement on those for a few months, but that's still an unheard of situation for me.
