I have a rubi dw250lps which has served me well until recentley. Hasnt been used for a while so got it packed into van the other day to do a granite job. Cant get the thing to cut in a straight line. I checked to see if the blade has been knocked therefore making it warped but it looks ok, anyone else experienced this?

what you might find trev is one edge /side of the wheel has worn down quicker than the other side but that is due to pushing the tiles through to quick,i know this is probably correct as my younger brother tends to do the same thing with mine

Its a rail cutter m8 and i tend to be careful with it. I do remember giving a loan of it to a fellow tiler and seem to think that ive not used it since. Think a new blade might cure it?

just bought the new version dw-250n have u checked to see if any of the nuts retaining the motor have loosened or try using a sqaure and place it at of the bed side and then pass the motor alond the rail and see if it runs true if not try small adjustments till you get it to run true hope this helps mate .GOOD LUCK!!.

you know you can actually pay to have these serviced
call this number 01708 559609 ,this is rubi in england they might be able to help

Cheers lads, have checked it with square and defo running off, will call that no. and see how i get on as there isnt really much you can adjust on it. All pretty much bolted up.
