Hi,

I have a job coming up to re-tile a bathroom floor so I was wondering what the best tool or tools would be to remove the old tiles and adhesive from the floor?

Cheers
Stephen

Good question - wood I think but I haven't been able to have a good look yet.

If its tiled directly to the floor then you'll only need a scraper! If its onto ply you'll just need to put a crow bar under it at the door and prise it up. For concrete I use a breaker with chisel bit. Don't forget your safety gear!

Each floor is different so I take a range of tools to do it. A 6ft pinch bar, crow bars in 5ft and 2ft, mash hammer and bolster and probably a few others I can't remember. And don't forget the goggles and rubble bags.

Hammer and chisel! If its upstairs and wood then hope its not a rubber crumb adhesive as they are a nightmare to get up
