Kitchen pricing HELP!!!!!!

hi folks have been doing a kitchen splashback.
Much though I have disliked doing it customer requested old tiles covered over with new 200 x 100 beveled tiles in brick bond.
originally just wanted splash back around the work tops. Then came back home liked the look of it and now wants the entire kitchen doing up above the cupboards round the doors, window etc.
Have measured it at 7.6m2 all in and reckon it would take me 2 1/2 days to get it all done ( still working at newbie speed + first attempt at brick bond)
so what do you reckon on price ?????

worked it out at 2 1/2 x £100.00 day rate
do you reckon £250.00 is ok or am I working too slow

Sounds quite fiddly to me, also getting them looking good around a window with beveled edges and brick bond.....Price it a it higher i would want around £350 plus materials.

I would hope to do 3 to 4 m of those tiles a day in a kitchen including cuts & grouting at £150 a day. So total of say around £300.
Remember it will be a pain to grout so i would charge 3 dayrates at £100 if i where you and you would still be competitive on price.

Dont ever worry about speed, it will come. Just do the job to the best of your ability!

If you are happy with that amount of money and are confident to do it in that time frame then ask for that amount. It is not down to what others charge but what you are willing to work for.

Just one thing that stands out in your post. If you have tiled over existing as the customer asked are you able to tile the remainder where there isn't existing tile. Also if you set out for brick will it work out ok for the additional tiling.

The touble is that you have no chance of avoiding small cut's because the first tile's have been laid and you have the window and door to get round, Above the unit's is a pain in the neck, Same as enduro £350 + mats

There is nowhere in the room where there isnt existing tile it was completely tiled to start with.
I have not had chance to accurately work out if the brick bond pattern will follow throughout the rest of the room yet as have only had chance to measure up to advise customer of number of extra materials needed and to work out a price. There are some objects that will break up the run of the pattern so they may help me out if the pattern dosent wrap around fully.

Just for a bit of comparison Frogman, I have this very day delivered to a customer an estimate for a simple splashback with those very same tiles, less that 2m2 and only 5 sockets, onto plasterboard. Price...£197.50! Estimate accepted.

It was part of a wall and floor job estimate. That was the sum total of labour and materials as split on the estimate for that part of the job.

I've just done a full bathroom in this style 10+20 brick tiles,20sqm(1000 tiles) took 5 bloody days with sorting the wall out an all.
When you come to doing the window with trim try to make sure each tile is a cut around it because if you end up with a cut then bevelled edge above it on the trim it looks rubbish,hope you get what I'm saying.
