Yeah your right. I never like having money anyway.
Personally, I use DeWalt laser level. It has low power consumption, quite precious and has various mods of usability. Also, they advise a good warranty service. A good, solid choice.

I have tried a various number of the lasers for measurements, and different tasks require different tools. So for the constructing measurements at the floor, the best available in my opinion are DeWalt and Topcon brands.
