Adhesive curing time

We've just had our kitchen/living room tiled and grouted the job was completed today, 45 sqm

Adhesive that was used Was BAL Rapid Flex One

From what I've read here I should wait 2 weeks before turning on the electric underfloor heating on and then gradually increase the temp 5 degrees per day

How long should i keep it on for per day?

Could I turn on the heating sooner and increase the temperature gradually?

Or is it a must that i wait 2 weeks first?

How long would you recommend I keep it on for per day? I'll set it to the lowest temperature on the thermostat and then increase by 5 degrees every day

Also once this is done, can the underfloor heating be used as normal? I.e can i put it on max temperature immediately?

Depending on the insulation used you may find the temperature of the floor after 2 weeks to be around 15 degrees. When you switch it on the sensor in the floor will give you a reading. Set the thermostat at 1degree above that and increase it by 1degree every day ( not 5 degrees) and leave the floor on - it will switch off itself every time it reaches its setting. In my house my floors never reach 29degrees!
If you shock the adhesive by switching on too fast too soon you will have problems down the line - have patience!

The heating mat was placed over concrete cement boards.

That's fine I'll follow the above procedure, once this is completed can i then increase use it as normal i.e set the thermostat to max? As I'm sure i read elsewhere thermal shocking of the adhesive could happen anytime if so what's the best method to operate it on a day to day basis for maximum efficiency?

Electric UFH mats are generally a tile warmer and not a primary heat source.
24/25 degrees is comfortable to walk on.
In my experience over 28 degrees and it will not switch off as with heat loss it will always be working to reach its maximum setting.
For 45 sq mts you will definitely see an increase in your electricity account if you don’t monitor its use.

Use a timer too. i.e. don't have it running all night when nobody is in the room. Unless of course you have pots of money!!
