    I would have siliconed between tray and bottom of plasterboard, then the next day then once set, tank over the lot. Advice late but might help someone else !

    I have a tx 700 and have found it excellent but am another of those that have always stuck with rubi. If I was to buy something new I would try to borrow a sigma off a rep as you suggested.

    To answer your previous question about self levelling devices. Yes definitely purchase one. I find my one indispensable. Purchase a good one though. Things to consider: shoots vertical, horizontal and both together - creating a 90 degree angle for you. Specs will tell you it's degree of accuracy...
