From reading this thread I don’t think I will be charging different prices anymore.
It is something I have always done, on a old post on here I was involved in a few people did the same.. inc a set price to lay UCM etc.
I have never priced per m2. Never even considered it.
Each customer gets a quote which separates Materials from Labour. Labour generally works out at:
Prep work - £130 a day
Tiling work - £140/150 a day
Grouting work - £130/140 a day.
Have you tried looking at other companies with a colour range in Silicon to see if you can match it as closely as possible ?
If Ardex has 13 colours and Weber has say 10 colours, Bal has say 10.. you have a greater chance of matching.
So your doing to job for someone else, so you will be wanting to do the best job you can..If your going under the units then you will already be cutting the plinths to sit on the new floor height.
I personally would of removed the skirting, if for what ever reason you can't/wont, then I would go round with a multitool cutting skirting to allow the tile to go under.

Without knowing all the details. Do not put the cut edges into a grout joint, especially when they are the Metro tiles.
You may find you will need a different size trim dependant on where on the tile the trim will sit.
For example - manufactures edge may be 5-6mm but when placing...
The Amount of cheap end tiles that vary like you said is scary and not fun :(
Do you also find they advertise (for example) 250x250 but may be 249 on the bottom but on the top then 248 or 250 on the top... 2mm grout joint-GONE lol
