You should of stated that you wanted a mat well, i would of just tiled if it had not been specified.

With Dave on this one, they are ruined, probably quicker to re-tile!

It can be done either way, i do mine like that, i do work for one company and they want all of their trims done this way, there is nothing wrong with it.

Leave well alone if they don't want existing tiles taken up, asking for trouble in the long run.

Depends what manual cutter you have, i use a Rubi tx to cut them, no problem.

Totally unacceptable i would say, terrible setting out, awful grout joints, can you post some pictures of the rest of the room.

Are the bottom rows cuts? the cut around cooker socket picture 3 is acceptable.

Why are you getting the builder to tile is the first thing you should ask yourself, would you get a tiler to do the building work, you need to upload some pictures of the tiles, and what needs to be cut, can't really see there should be an issue.

That is as bad as it can get, shocker.

Trim should of been mitred aswell.
