What should I use to mark these?
I used a sharpie was a worried it wont come off being permanent but seems its not permanent on tile and rubs off with your thumb. What about a china pencil dont people use them as evey tile shop I have seen sell them- Filip

Shower tray installation
I am not a fitter just a big DIYer. And fitted 3. My walls were not square but with thick plaster /sand cement on one wall that gave me some play I just had to build out one wall with plaster to square it off for the tray. I just think that the bead of Silicon on the outside of a flat top tray...- Filip

Yeh I know that now, I replaced that shower and old tiles that I had put up 10 years before and they were B@stards to get off and were bone dry underneath and they were 150x150 so loads of grout lines compared to the new ones at 400x250. How come they dont tank in new builds- Filip

I did not want to block any view of underneath once the side access panels were off so I did not use lengths of 2x3 but instead used blocks first set onto 18 ply mats. I have fitted 3 mira flight trays and love the ones with 4 upstands Mira Flight - Square - 800 x 800 - 4 Upstands by Mira Showers - https://www.mirashowers.co.uk/shower-trays/mira-flight-square-800-x-800-4-upstands/. Grinder dust extraction
The point is that you still have it after 50 years, I very much doubt that your Dyson will last 50 months. We had one too at home (hover) and I inherited it for DIY work until I destroyed it with brick dust, one of the issues with it was that it kicked out air under it - blowing everything...- Filip

Unhappy with finish of beveled metro tiles and tile trim around window - are we being unreasonable?
Why don't crossover trades people just say - you know what I don't think I can do that you had better get a tiler/carpenter.plumber - what ever but instead try and take it on themselves - with the results shown which then lets down his otherwise good job on the actual kitchen fit. I was supposed to also say ( is) like this---- there is also pink which is extra fire resistant although I don't see how normal plasterboard is flammable. and I typed if my mistake. I said extra because normal plasterboard does have fire retardant property's. We had an extension with some steel...- Filip

Do I need grout sealer
Well I had a go with it but it would not touch the TM 3000 grout and it just sat there and beaded up so looks like the 3000 is the business.- Filip
