I know my tiler spoke to the granfix tech guys and they said there should be no problem using their products with quartz tiles. They think its the quartz and the heat. The tile company I bought the tiles from did ask me if the adhesive contained calcium sulphate (gypsum) which granfix say it...

They didn't mention the ultra brand of adhesive at all when I ordered the tiles. If they had I would of bought it from them and saved my tiler from getting the adhesive. It would have made no difference to me at all. I think this is a new excuse they have come up with. I'm more inclined to think...

According to T...P..... -The tiles have a 0.2% water absorbtion rate making them classified as non-porous so I dont think its that. -They require no sealing -95% quartz as opposed to industry standard 92%. -Scratch and stain proof. Mine had scratches after 2 weeks! -The only company in the...

Until I get some evidence of other customer problems I'm stuck. When Granfix get back to me hopefully I'll have a...

I get the impression that they have had to deal with alot of these phone calls recently. To...

The adhesive used is fast setting so it states it sets/dried out in 3 hrs approx so would the water in the mix be an issue? Is resin pourous?

    bowed quartz floor tiles

My tiler thinks it's something to do with the heat and the tiles not being able to cope with it. Surely tho if the tiles were up to standard the heat should be no problem? Im only warming the floor in the hallway. They are not on a high temp at all, they are on low and constant

Yeah thats the company I got them from. Is this something you have heard about before? I know a few other suppliers have!! I havn't got any pics at present. Will try to upload some soon. Basically if you turned the tile face down on a worktop you could easily slide a £1 coin in the gap/bow in...
