    What is underneath that lot 🤔 was a shower former use? The envelope cuts are from corner of drain to corner of shower.

    Grouting tumbled edge

    They are not “True“ chisel edge tiles, but a porcelain imitation chisel edge. They will have to be grouted as normal, then sponged off, to leave a straight edged grout line.

    Just use the sealer, with your doors and windows open, as the spirit based stuff stinks. (I quite like it actually) don’t go too mad, couple of thin coats……don’t let it puddle. job done 👍

    Delays due to lack of lorry drivers causing any delays in your work?

    I had been pre-warned of price hikes due to transport costs going up…….by my local supplier…..but as yet, nothing. Although they did have trouble getting a delivery of adhesive…….but had put some away for me ;)

    Advice on bathroom floor partial retile

    How big an area are you talking about?? personally, I would lift the lot, and start again, as, and I think you know, the lot has been botched, and the only way is to strip out and do it properly. I very much doubt you would have any comeback on the original contractor after 3 years.
