    A bit of a survey for TilersForums.co.uk

Done it. I don't have a website or use social media but my mate is a heating engineer and gets loads of work on facebook.

    Decoupler

What happens when you have to lift a tile to bed up a bit, the suction on the tile will lift the mat up and drag it everywhere. Good for a billiard table flat floor.

    Tilers Forums Hall of Shame....

That's the authentic rustic look that I've been trying to achieve for years. It's got that quintessential charm that you just can not fake. Outstanding.

    Tax!!!!

I've heard recently from a couple of sources that the government wants self employed people to submit their tax account every three months from next year. I hope this is bull sh*t, I don't think I could handle that sick to the stomach feeling four times a year. Has anyone got any idea if this...

    Tilers Forums Hall of Shame....

This was in a 10 million plus house in Hampstead Heath. I was there to tile the steam room in the basement and came across this in the shower room, I think the builder had got his labourers to do the tiling. The angle had been pieced with 4 off cuts of trim. Gobsmacked !

    More Knee Pads

I can only speak from my experience and they Alpro's did help my knees. I would warn you though that the first couple of days using them my knees were in pain, I thought I had wasted my money. Then miraculously they became the most comfortable one's I ever worn. They take a little while to...

Tales Of Rogues And Rough Arses

Thought it might be a bit of fun (and maybe educational) for members to share a few stories of characters they may have worked with or come across over the years. It's probably best if no real names are used just in case. I'll get the ball rolling with a few that I have remembered. The first was...

    Guys, I'm Panicking

I've had to do this myself. Cut the 900's down and try roughing the edge up with a grinder and then soften with a rubbing stone or polishing pad, this might be quicker than chiseling the edge, if not just chisel instead. Remember you only have to worry about the very top edge, when it's grouted...

    More Knee Pads

For years I used to use the Rubi foam knee pads, very comfortable but after a couple of months they would end up splitting where the straps attached, so with hardly any wear on the face they would end up in the bin. A bad design flaw? or a way to make sure they didn't last to long? It done my...

Harrods Stand, Sleep Exhibition, London 2015

Great job, hat's off to all involved. It takes tiling to another level. Pity it was for a display, work like that deserves to last for more than just a few days. Hope to use some of this product sooner rather than later myself.
