Hi Ben
Not trying to be smart but the headings and words dont go with each other. The Kitchens picture talks about bathrooms and the Bathrooms and Wetrooms picture talks about Kitchens. Probably doesnt matter but first impressions count sometimes!

Heating hasnt gone on yet but floor was laid 2 weeks ago - client is waiting 3 weeks then going up by 5 dgs a day apparently. He has had advice from everyone regarding this. I wont be tiling until he has had it up to temp and down again and we inspect for any movement.
Yea h hopefully not like laying paving slabs! Yes I reckon 2 good coats . Do you think I should use a white adhesive or grey? Client is thinking mid grey grout.
Hi Antonio - my laser is the multiline version - cross plus another vertical so its fine - similar to your Bosch i think but cheaper ! DW089k not the one you show .

Hi Guys
Got a project to price up for a February start. New build with a 50mm concrete base over UFH water pipes - will be 6 weeks old at least when I come to lay and the UFH tried out slowly in the proper manner. 70 square meters on the ground floor. Walls are cedar logs that will need cutting...
Hi - I actually got the stabila one because it was way cheaper but looks like it is better!. Also cheapest around normally £70 odd.
Stabila 18238 LT30 - Telescopic Laser Pole 135-365cm
Ordered the Dewalt DW089k from Howe Tools today at £229 and got a pole from FFX at £60.
Got a 100sq mtr flooring job in Jan going through 2 halls and multi rooms so might need it!
I work out how many hours it will take to cut and fit and then add that on to the estimated tiling time so that effectively it gets included into the day rate price of the job.
I do re grouts all the time - bit boring perhaps - but when you have re grouted a bathroom, put new Silicon round and charged a good price for refurbishing , then it is worth it. If the customer is happy then I am!
Great tool the Fein - I also use the diamond blades from Saxton too. I also use mine for cutting metal trims as it gives a really neat and quick cut ( with a metal cutting blade on of course!) One thing I like about it is the 5 metre long cable it comes with - very sensible
If there are no cracks in the existing screed and no evidence of movement or subsidence then I wouldn't worry about a decoupling mat - however if in doubt then I would use Bal rapid mat or similar.
Looks good value now at around £180 - does it do everything you need - like setting up for wall and floor tiling? Do you use it to make sure battens are level for example or not use them and start from the ground up?
Hi - Just wondering if your mobile workshop ever comes up to Inverness? I saw that you have been to CTD shops and i deal with the one at Inverness. If not then maybe Aberdeen or Glasgow,Edinburgh - still 120 miles away but i would travel.
