Thanks,i guessed that would be the case. Got tile a kitchen floor that has floorboards running through to the hallway and they dont want a step. 400x400 porcelain tiles. The boards are 18mm,i guess theres not mch choice. Is 12mm ply enough,ive had different opinions on this?

Yes was naughty! Its about 2 cm high sitting all over the bottom of the pan. Its Mapei ultra grout and has set rock hard!

the substrate is good old thick brick walls,so im not too worried about that,and not really my problem as im just being told what to do if you know what i mean.
