Hi all. Finally started cuts on floor tiles today and few questions re cutter & tiles:
Usina new Big Clinker 600 cutter with B&Q (I know I know!) 9mm ceramic tiles 298/458 and used a couple broken tiles to run some demo cuts to get used to the cutter.
2 things concern me
1) the top glaze on tile...
Yes you heard right, for 7 years I've been using a Big Clinker on all my bathroom jobs and I'm sick of it now.
I have a Rubi pocket 40 for Metros and the like and I'm looking to renew them both for possibly Sigma and a mini Sigma.
Any recommendadtions? I dont do any super large format and...

As the title suggests. After speaking to @Lee@TileTown for the first time on Monday to order Setaflex and Prime Plus it arrived first thing this morning, floor underway. First time using this product, and I'm impressed, No slumping and very smooth.

We're tiling a small bathroom, and I bought some tiles online, but they are quite a lot too big. I am wondering whether they can be cut to a smaller size before laying them (eg. cut into quarters). They don't have any bevelled edges etc, so it seems like it might be doable. The alternative is...

Family friends asked me to replace a tile the plumber took off to replace a shower valve, whilst doing the work he managed to butcher and take out most of the wall that was holding the previous tile on. .any suggestions to fill the hole so I've actually got something to stick the repacement tile...
