Hello,
I'm a London based architect and looking to source a wall tile called German Block or German Blockwork - that's all I really know about it - with the dimensions being 400mm x 100mm. I think it has a grey finish, not sure if this varies.
If anyone has come across it before / knows where...
Hi there
Wondered if you could help. I know that wood is a nightmare and wondered if tiling directly onto a butcher's block using a good primer, flexi adhesive and admix/flexi grout is sufficient or whether another substrate - plywood?/roof felt/metal lath? has to be put ontop of the wood to...
Looked at a bathroom yesterday where the partition walls have been constructed from a "cinder" type block, resting on the floorboards. The walls are non-load bearing and have been plastered! I am looking to overboard the walls with Wedi before tiling, anyone had experience of this construction...

I'm going to be boarding my bathroom with NMP ready for tiling. I've taken the walls back to breeze block but am unsure which adhesive to use. The NMP adhesive seems really expensive so was going to use a 'single part flexi rapid set adhesive' as specified on the NMP website. Does anyone have a...

Okay, It's late and I'm still working on quotations :mad2:.

Hi. First post. Fount the forum whilst searching for cutting tool hire info.
I am currently building a new house and have planned a wet room in the main bedroom en-suite. Construction is block work and concrete floors throughout. My question is, do I need to tank? My builder/plasterer and...
I am redoing my bathroom and for the shower cubicle will be putting up Hardiebacker board and then Homelux matting before tiling.
My bath will have three walls surrounding it. One of which is a partition wall which already has the bathroom side of the wall removed so will be replaced with...
