I've used them for the last 20 years now all of a sudden the shop I use can't get them so hence the post.
There must be someone out there with some stock !!
Hello!
Council (freeholder) gave retiled my balcony as they had to fix the one above me so figured they'd do it at the same time. They finished ages ago but I only just walked out on to it (crazy I know) and noticed there are just big gaps between the tiles, and nothing in them. I'd expect some...

I've just tiled my bathroom and started grouting tonight with Bal micromax gunmetal. The grouts been down approx. 4 hours and looks to be drying very patchy colour wise. Most of it looks to be drying fairly light, while some smaller areas are a totally different shade. Granted, I appreciate it...

Has anyone ever used this in other grouts besides bal to make them more flexible ...
I know you shouldn't do it, and bal would never recommend it........ But in the real world do you think it would have disastrous consequences if used in grout 3000....?
Shortly I hope to tile a wall ( skimed plaster board ) that has previously been painted with matt emulsion. The plan is to sand / grind off the paint, then prime and tile. The tile wt.is within the loading capacity.
Questions.
Is the wall prep ok?
Can I use BAL ADP primer with Mapei adhesive...

Can any one offer any advice. We grouted a bathroom about three months ago using Bal ebony grout on white ceramic tiles. After five weeks the grout was still bleeding black everywhere. The ball rep came out and put it down to under hydration. We striped all the grout out which was a awful job...

Can any tilers recommend a way of getting these black dots off our wall tiles? The tiles are matt white and are porcelain. Black Bal grouting was used.
We have tried all different grout removers but none have worked.
Hi, I need a minimum of 7 m2 (about 40) of these tiles to match an area. I have the box of the original ones, they are 43.6 x 43.6 and 7 per box.
Other details are clase=STD, Tono= AB, Calibre=6, Operario=83
Bought them about 6-7 years but cant remember where.

Its nearly here and the silly money has started to go around.
Not really bothered with all the faff involved and these players are hyped up pansies IMHO.
But here in Newcastle we are back in the big time and the buzz has started.
Tomorrow the wife and I are doing something for the 1st. time...

Hello, I'm new here and looking for a little advice.
I have just opened a tub of Bal White Star ready-mixed adhesive which has been stored unopened for some time. It still seems usable enough but perhaps slightly on the thick side. My question is: Can the adhesive be thinned slightly by...

Anyone going to be following this?
I don't like football much but last night caught some of the game England played against Scotland. England won 6-0 which I thought was great! Haven't seen the mens team do that recently! :p
Well, I was sent one to review by a member on here @Lucas D and yes his post was right, it's a great float, very slim and light with a great sharp rubber edge which removes grout very well, I can't comment on its durability but if it lasts ok I'll probably get another.

just had the pleasure of using a kubala 10mm notched trowel, I found it lighter than my Rubi trowel. It was easier to clean as it's made of stainless steel and the handle is all plastic.
I've only used it to lay 10m2 of floor tiles but will post another review in a few weeks time to see how well...
