Unfortunately we have to stick on a cracked porcelain tile to the wall around the bath area underneath the over bath shower.

Looked that this floor this evening,the customer said the builders have used slc ,and it's cracking all over the place in the kitchen,she's bought 20sq in slate,problem is if I rip it all up and slc myself is it going to crack again,after I've tiled it

Hi guys, I have a kitchen I'm soon to fit.
After Pulling the original tiles up I have discovered a crack in the screed where an internal wall has been removed.
It looks to be a very old crack, there is nothing visible externally on the walls either.
Just wondering what peoples approach...
See if anyone can give pointers what went wrong.
Got following setup:
Anhydrite floor dried for 2 years (fully dry).
Water underfloor heating - comissioned prior to start of tiling
Area - L shape with longer dimensions 7 x 7m (does not exceed 8meters in any dimension)
