trying to cut ceramic floor tile, shattering
Hi I have just started tiling I am trying to cut my tile with the wet cutter and it keeps shattering. What am I doing wrong. Many thanks.- valerie

How Do You Cut Thick Ceramic Floor Tiles?
In most cases providing they are just ceramic you may be able to use a good quality 'dry' cutter, if it's a tough tile or is something other than ceramic, maybe porcelain glazed or even fully bodies porcelain or even those such as stone and marble etc, you will probably need to use a wet disc...- Dan
