Hello to all, any advice on my situation would be greatly appreciated.
Has anyone had any experience of Polycell Plaster Repair? I removed some old ceramic tiles from the wall but the old adhesive pulled away all the surface of the plaster. The remaining plaster is very solid so I scored it...

I have taken off all the old tiles in a cloakroom and removed as much of the old tile adhesive as possible. However during this process the top layer of paper on the plasterboard has also come away (showing the brown coating/paper) in quite a few area's...
I did a polished cappuccino marble wetroom last week and popped round to collect my money this evening. The customer showed me a small surface discrepancy on one of the walls tiles, claiming that she thinks the plumber has damaged it with a hammer (or something similar).
I'm not convinced...
I cleaned my tiles in error with LimeLite a limescale cleaner and it has etched away the black tile to leave marks. I'm not sure what material the tile is made from, its either marble or something that looks like marble. I assume I need to polish it somehow to buff back to the original tile...

Hi all
A friend of mine has asked me to replace some damaged floor tiles in his sandwich café in Southend.
Unfortunately, not only is it a long way from where I am based in Herts, but I cannot do the job this side of Christmas anyway, which is what he is hoping for.
Are there any Tilers local...

Had a bit of an accident today. Bathboard slipped off bath sending a tile crashing down. It's a white plastic which now has a chip/dint in it. New suite so understandably the customer wants it repairing.
I know there are repair kits for this but was wondering if anyone here knows the best...
Hi Guys,
Got a bathroom to do where the client has removed old tiles and damaged the skim coat on top of the plasterboard above bath. He doesn't want the expense of a plasterer, am I right in thinking that I can repair the damaged skim with some rapid set and then tile on top with something...
USE A FLAT PRY bar to remove tiles that are firmly stuck to the wall. Don't pry under the corner of a tile or you'll crack it.
TRIM THE BROKEN edge of the existing gypsum wallboard with a drywall saw to create a neat, straight horizontal joint.
USE A SHARP RAZOR knife to scrape off any...

I have a 7 sqm kitchen wrap around splashback to do in the next couple of days "depending on the joiner fitting the new kitchen".
